Monday

After a wonderful first nights sleep on the boat, we ate breakfast and then we were off to Sandy Spit. Sandy Spit is where the corona beer commercials are made and where Rose & Travis got married.

We spent about an hour of swimming to the shore of Sandy Spit and looking for shells and jumping off of the boat. Next we left for White Bay in Jost Van Dyke. The adults went to Soggy Dollar Bar while the kids kayaked in the water around the boats.

Before supper, we made our way to Great Harbour. Travis took us on a dingy ride to shore to go to the gift shop there on the beach and next door was a bar where Travis, Shrek, And Donkey enjoyed a beer.

After supper every night Rose would put a light in the water that attracted fish and Shrek & Donkey would go fishing every night. This paticular night Donkey caught a Jack fish.( sorry we couldn't get a good pic of it )

Sunday

Sunday we felt like we were traveling all day but we finally got to paradise. Travis, the captain greeted us at the airport in Tortola, BVI. After a short dingy ride to the boat we headed to Monkey Point at Guana Island to stay the night.

As soon as we reached Monkey Point all eight of us were in the clear blue water snorkeling. Including Donkey who had a really good time.

After a long day we had a wonderful first supper of stuffed chicken with risotto and asparagus. Which by the way was delicious. Rose has got to be the best cook in the world and all of her food is so presentable looking.

This week we are aboard a catamaran called Pentesilea II.

The whole smallwash clan is here together in the BVI !!
